Throwing this is similar to skipping a stone – except you’re not trying to skip it. Imagine you’re standing waist-deep in water and you’re trying to skip it. Throw this forehand, not backhand like a Frisbee.

The more you throw it, the better you’ll get and the more fun you’ll have. Check out the following graphics to master the throw. Get ready to "Grip it and Zip it".

Hold the UFO in your throwing hand with the domed side facing up. Place your index finger in the groove around the perimeter. The other fingers are less critical, but the thumb should be on top or at the edge. Experiment with different grips to maximize your throw. Just make sure your grip is gentle.

Now you’re ready to Zip It! To achieve the perfect throw, combine Spin and Angle upon release.

Spin: Generate spin by rolling it off the index fingertip to avoid wobble.

Angle: Release it level for a straight flight. Your forearm should be horizontal.

Tip: Don’t be afraid to zip it with some force to get the right spin!
